This year Compotec will present an even more interesting program of side-events with a full in-depth view of the most important issues related to this sector, offering a wide schedule of meetings and conferences to all professionals visiting the Show.

Among the events, Design and Composites: state of the art a meeting with renowned names coming from the academic, industrial and design spheres involved in different sectors (bike, car, train, yacht and furniture) who will debate on the use of composites and how they can represent a low impact choice for the environment. The conference, organized within the Abitare il Mare initiative, (by Decio G.R Carugati, promoted by CarraraFiere) is in line with the green leitmotiv of next edition.

Again, talking about "Green Policy" but with a more technical approach, Compotec presents Green as composites - Technologically advanced materials for environmental sustainability. Divided into three sessions, it will be the ground to discuss with companies, technicians, researchers and professors about composites and sustainability.

Assomotoracing as well will organize a conference about composites called Advanced composites design in aerospace and defence.

One entire day will be dedicated to the technical-scientific workshop Development and design methods of composites made products, coordinated by Professor Quaresimin and Eng. Cimadoro with an afternoon session dedicated to applications and technical aspects. Furthermore, a demonstration area will be equipped with virtual demo points showing mechanical tests, chemical-physical analysis systems, NDT analysis systems, and numerical moulding codes calculators. Within this area, Exhibitors will have the opportunity to point out the features of their most innovative productions.

Finally, the new initiative Greentec, will be specifically dedicated to the participating companies having the opportunity to indicate the products with eco-friendly features which will be promoted on-line through the publication on the Compotec website.

Compotec 2012, with a great variety of side-events and conferences and thanks to the presence of high-profiles companies in terms of research and innovation, confirms once more its importance in the international scenario of trade events dedicated to the composites industry.
