CarraraFiere's Chairman Giorgio Bianchini and General Manager Paris Mazzanti have announced that the third Compotec, the only international trade fair in Italy specialised in composite materials, scheduled for  27/28/29 October 2010, will instead take place from 16 to 18 February 2011 at the same time as the ninth Seatec, the international exhibition for technology, subcontracting and design for boats, yachts and ships.

CarraraFiere believes that this will be welcomed by the industry since it will bring together technology and materials for industry in general; it will no longer address the nautical industry alone but will encompass other industries such as the aeronautics industry, the automotive industry and the building industry as well as defense, thereby promoting exchanges and development in the industry in general. "We are very happy about this merger", said the Chairman Giorgio Bianchini. "This year's Compotec was a success and we are sure that the change will bring enhanced business opportunities for exhibitors and visitors alike"

Compotec is already working on planning the new Exhibition area and the organisation of Conferences and Seminars, that have been very successful in the past two years, for this new event that promises to be an excellent opportunity for all the industries involved.
